Sunday Rewind (from Revelation 1:5-8)

Sunday Rewind Blog
Pastor Ray

Greetings

I hope this day finds you well. I'm excited to share with you some of the key insights from our latest Bible Study this past Sunday (Revelation 1:5-8) where we delved into the current events, the power of prayer, and the profound teachings of the book of Revelation.

1.The Book of Revelation: We explored the promise of blessing that the Book of Revelation brings. It's a reminder that God wants to reveal Himself to each of us, offering comfort in times of trouble.

2.The Church and Jesus' Love: We discussed the significance of the church and Jesus' love for it. The phrase "who was and is and is to come" was highlighted, emphasizing God's unchanging nature.

3.The Simplicity of the Gospel Message (A-B-C): We saw the simplicity of the Gospel message, as simple as A-B-C; Admitting our need for a Savior because of our sin before the Holy God, Believing in Jesus’ finished work on the cross, and Confessing (agreeing) we need a Savior, and asking Jesus to be our Savior.

4.Remembering September 11th: We reflected on the significance of this day and shared a personal story about meeting an Israeli major, drawing parallels between the recent terrorist attack in Israel and the September 11th attacks of 2001 here in America.

5.Our Identity in Christ: The Lord remins believers of their identity as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation.

6.Prophecy and Misconceptions: We focused on the prophecy in Zechariah 12:10 and Romans 11, addressing the misconception of replacement theology and emphasizing that God has not abandoned Israel.

I hope these insights spark your curiosity and encourage you to listen to the message if you missed it or wanted a reminder of it. As we navigate these challenging times, let's remember to pray for peace, seek comfort in God's word, and keep the faith of His unchanging nature.

Until next time, keep the faith and stay blessed.
