Christ and His Finished Works: Our Full Assurance: Our passage today is one of the all-time greatest and favorites passages………….. of the Devil (the father of all lies). The devil loves to use it to convince believers in Christ, that if they have backslidden, walked away, gone back to their old ways, that they have lost their salvation, and it is impossible to ever be saved again, and that they might as well just give up on the thought of Christ loving them again. Lies, all lies, from the father of lies (the devil). This passage is actually one of the strongest passages in the Bible, of God calling those who have drifted away….. to come home. Join us as we look into the “Heart of God”.
