The Dangerous Church (Which One do You Attend): We have been studying how the Old Testament Tabernacle (then thereafter the Temple) was the center of the people of God. We have seen that it was where the very presence of God was among the people. However, as we look at the Tabernacle/Temple through the scriptures we see it was at times wonderfully drawing people to the Lord, and at other times leading people away by leaders misrepresenting God. Today we have the Church, a place the presence of God desires to be among His people, but some churches dangerously misrepresent Him and lead people away, while others are “dangerous” to the gates of hell because they draw people to the Lord…. Which church do you attend? Today our passage lays out God’s model for His Church.
