The Church, the Pillar and Ground of Truth: In Ephesus where Paul is tell his young disciple Timothy to stay and teach the word, unashamed, and unchanged, was the Temple of Artemis which was considered one of the seven wonders of the world. Paul will word play off what the world thought was wondrous, and flip it to declare the greatest wonder is God and His Holy Word.
