All scripture has been given and inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16), yet something remarkable in what we read here before us today is Peter walked with Jesus, and was eyewitness to the things we read in our passage. When he writes these things there is a personal recollecting, an inspiration that has direct heart-strings attached to them from a man who walked with Jesus personally.
