Philippians 1:19-26 | To Live is Christ!

 “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Paul summarizes the Christian life in one powerful sentence. To live is Christ means Jesus is the purpose, center, and direction of our lives. As long as we live, we have the opportunity to know Christ, serve Him, and make Him known. To die is gain means death is not defeat for the believer. Death brings us into the presence of the One we have been living for. Paul’s message is simple: If I live, I live for Christ. If I die, I go to be with Christ. Either way, Christ is my gain.
