Hebrews 11:33-35a Faith When Times are Good

The author of Hebrews has listed a series of faithful men and women through the ages, and now, at the end, begins to quickly list off yet more of the faithful through the ages. Some will be familiar to us, other may come as a surprise. But one thing they all had in common was a simple faith in God which acted in obedience to the call of God. We will learn what faith is and, more importantly, what it is not. Faith is about obedience, not feelings; it is based on evidence, not blind superstition. In this section, we will see some of that evidence in action.
