Genesis 42

Summary: For the people, it has been 7 years of plenty, hey let the good times roll, never knowing a famine was coming.  How long into the famine before they realized this is serious.  And little did they know, but it was 20 years prior that God had been preparing for this famine, and raising up Joseph to lead them through it.  I wonder what God is doing today in my life, in your life, that is preparing for something 20 years down the road.  What a chapter of comfort and confidence in our God whose hand is always upon us, working all things together for good!
