There are the trials of perfection, as God uses trials to perfect and mature His children. He will use the trials to show a person more about themselves, and more about Himself. For these disciples, Jesus sends them into the storm, into the trial, why, because His departure is near, and He is readying them to pick-up where He leaves off, for it will be they that will carry the gospel to the outer parts of the world.
