Genesis 16 | The God Who Sees Me In My Hurt
Pastor Ray Bollas
Time has a way of erasing the promises of God that He has given us but have yet to come to pass. And Abraham and Sarah have forgotten His promise, so they try to put human logic into the middle of faith, and it just never works out, other than a mess in the flesh. But the story in this chapter comes one of the greatest stories in the Bible as we see that God sees Hagar who is mistreated and cast off and in a place of hurting, and the Lord comes to her an Egyptian bondwoman and reveals Himself in a special way; and so the Lord seeks all the outcast and hurting today for He is the same yesterday today and forever.
