Joshua 2

In our passage today Joshua sends two spies into the land and city of Jericho to spy the lay of the land, and to bring a report back, what are we up against, what are their strongholds, where are their weaknesses, a typical military strategy. Today it is simply called “ISR” (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance). The ISR that these spies will bring back that the victory is ours, the enemy is already defeated in heart, and now all that is left is for us to go take what God has promised us. Well if the calling of this book is to bring us into and give us the victorious Christian life, to claim the all the spiritual blessings God has for us (Galatians 5 are just to name a few); God is giving us an INTEL report, it’s yours, all that you want, believe and go and take it.
